ABOUT OUR PRACTICE AND STAFF

Dodo Clinic was established in 2002. Our direcor is a pediatric specialist certified by the Japan Pediatric Society and received his Ph.D. in pediatrics at Jichi Medical University Garaduate School.

The following is a list of services currently offered by our practice:

  • *Pediatric/adolescent medicine, Internal medicine, Routine exams and physicals
  • *Preventive medicine and screening (disease prevention education, immunizations, regular checkups and age-appropriate health screenings)
  • *Treatment and management of major and minor illnesses *Minor surgical procedures
  • *Lab work, X rays, Ultrasonographies performed by medical technologists and physicians with extensive ultrasonography experience

Our physicians and support staff consider children’s well-being our top priority and we work hard to provide you with the best pediatric services. When your child is ill, our physicians will do a careful examination, answer your questions, and let you know how we can help your child. Our doctors care for children with fevers, pain, ear and throat infections, rashes, colds and flu. We also help families find the best care and prevention measures when children have chronic, ongoing problems, such as asthma (breathing problems), atopic dermatitis (eczema), or food allergies.

Patient safety is a priority at our clinic. Our staff and physicians strive to provide our patients with the safest and highest quality care. We believe that our patients and their families should be active partners in patients’ care.

In our clinic, laboratory tests including emergency diagnostic tests are conducted by skilled and experienced clinical laboratory technologists.
Specimens for special tests not available in our clinic are sent to SRL, which is the leading laboratory testing company in Japan.
We are always focusing on the improvement of accuracy and reliability of our laboratory test results.
Vaccines are supposed to be stored at recommended temperatures. Especially, live-attenuated vaccines are susceptible to temperature change and light. To avoid vaccine failure, we take the utmost care regarding vaccine storage condition. In order to do so, we use a refrigerator and freezer optimal for vaccine storage. We maintain refrigerator’s temperature within acceptable range as well.
