Appointment for Influenza Vaccine

We will start taking influenza vaccine appointment around the end of September. You will not be able to take any other vaccine in the combination with influenza vaccine.

- Children from 1 year old to 13 years old will need to take 2 doses in the interval of 2-4 weeks. (Children under 1 year of old: not available in our clinic)
- Please book your second appointment along with your first appointment.
- Children with hen egg allergy will need to make appointment only on Monday or Saturday.

Rubella Antibody Test

Rubella outbreak has been spreading nationwide.
As the number of people consuming rubella vaccine is increasing, vaccine shortage is becoming a serious problem. Apparently it will take some time to sort it out.
Also, past history of rubella is not always reliable and blood testings, antibody titer checks, are advisable in this extraordinary circumstance.

We have used "Freeze-dried, Cell Culture-derived Japanese Encephalitis Vaccine : JEBIK V"
From now on we are using "ENCEVAC", another kind of Japanese encephalitis vaccine, instead.
The difference of them is how they are purified.
Astellas Pharma Inc., the manufacturer of "ENCEVAC", claims its way of purifying vaccine is more thourogh.
It is expected that “ENCEVAC” causes less adverse reactions including severe ones.
